This is an ongoing collaboration with sculpture artist Ulrike Mohr, who is based in Berlin. In 2017, I met her as part of an internship program and she invited me to write a fictional text based on her sculptures. She makes her own charcoal, using a carbonization process in the mountains of Switzerland. I imagined that I was an archaeologist from the future, discovering her studio as an artifact.

We then printed the text using a laser cutter on scrap wood, found books.

The full text can also be found in Anthrakothek Vol. 2 and I am currently working on more writing material for this project.
